I just received my ESCAPE Jacket and it looks totally awesome. The Antique Cowhide is beautiful to look at and soft to the touch. The pre-distressed look of it is perfect for this Jacket as it gives a real old rugged look to it like the jacket has been around for a while and seen some action. It really is a quality Leather any way you look at it. The Escape Jacket is incredibly comfortable to wear and is a fantastic fit especially when zipped up, the adjustable straps on each side of the Jacket enable the wearer to tighten the fit up a little so that the Jacket fits even better. Because of the soft Leather movement is easy and you feel like you are wearing a Jacket that you have worn in over a long period of time, I wear mine when I am riding my Motorcycle and it is so comfortable to ride in, It is also not too heavy so it has been great to wear in the summer months. The practicality of this Jacket is excellent, you can fit so much stuff into this Jacket, There are Two outer Side Pockets, Two outer Brest Pockets (One Zip and One Snap fastened) and Three Inner Pockets. Between them all you can pretty much carry anything for day to day use very easily. As far a design were concerned I requested a slight change to the look of my Escape Jacket. Although I loved the 1930s Motorcycle Jacket look I wanted a more modern zip up sleeve gussets on my Jacket rather than the Button up sleeve fastenings that come on the original Jacket. Indy and his team were able to do this with no problems at all giving me the overall look to the Jacket that I really wanted. I would also like to thank Indy for completing the Jacket so quickly for me, I certainly did not expect to receive the Jacket in Four weeks as I did. Once again a big thank you to Indy and everyone at Magnoli Clothiers for producing such a fine Jacket for me, I am so pleased with it. And I would recommend to anyone thinking of getting the Escape Jacket to go for the Antique Cowhide option, although it may cost a little more the finished result is well worth it and really does recreate the bad ass worn look of the Jacket used in the Movies.

I have just recieved the best-looking jacket I have ever seen. The measurements are spot-on and the leather quality is exceptionnal. It took a little bit longer than expected, but still the wait was reasonnable, and it was definitely worth it. Plus, the shipping is included in the price, which iI really appreciated since I live in France. I definitely recommand the "antique cowhide option", as it makes the jacket really screen-accurate. I'm certainly glad I came accross Indy's website, and I will certainly order another leather jacket. Guys, you really made a great job. Keep it up!

I received my escape jacket in the custom veg tanned cowhide, and it is absolutely amazing. The leather is thick and supple, yet amazingly soft and the surface texture really has to be seen to be believed. If you didn't know better you'd swear it was vintage horsehide. Right out of the bag it looks like it came out of your grandfather's closet and has been knocking around for 40 years. Anyone looking for the definitive Snake Plissken jacket need look no further. Anyone who wants a classic motorcycle jacket that will stand out in the crowd will not be disappointed with this jacket. Mr. Magnoli's customer service and shipping were both excellent and I highly recommend them.

I just received my newley re-tooled Escape jacket, and I must say that I couldn't be happier with the quality and the fit of this jacket. I have been a fan of Escape from New York since I was 13 years old in 1981 and Snake Plissken is my favorite movie charcater of all time. I have always wanted the jacket that Kurt Russell wore in the movie while portraying Snake and now thanks to Magnoli, my long time dream has finally come true. This jacket which is a replica of a 1930's motorcycle / aviator jacket is the coolest jacket I have ever laid my eyes on, and I'm not just saying that because I'm a fan of the movie, but because this jacket is very streamlined and sharp and the style has not been worn in 80 years. So not only did Magnoli's people go back in time to bring back the badest jacket on the planet, they did it with perfection. It took several prototypes for the jacket to reach it's highest level, but all the hard wotk and dedication to make this jacket a reality has paid off. It is crafted in magnoli's high quality Vegetable tanned steer hide, that mimic's the look of horsehide without question. I recommend that anyone seriously thinking about getting this jacket, should get it in this special leather, as nothing else, but horsehide will do it justice. Thank you Magnoli.

Wow, I just received my all new, re-designed 'Escape' jacket. The first jacket that was made for me was a fine jacket in it's own right, but not quite THE jacket. Working closely with me to iron out every single detail to get this jacket as screen accurate as possible, Magnoli and his people really came through. Every single feature on the jacket has been tweaked, re-worked and modified to be as accurate to the original screen worn 1930's California Sportswear jacket that Kurt made look so damn cool. The new leather is as fine as fine can be and is a dead ringer for vintage horsehide. I can finally close the book on this one. This is THE definitive Snake Plissken jacket as worn by Kurt Russell in 1981's "Escape From New York" and 1995's "Escape From L.A." Long live Snake and thanks again! -The Mechanic

I ordered the Snake Plissken jacket in pre-distressed goatskin with functional zipper, and I'm extremely happy with it. Indy Magnoli was very communicative during its construction, promptly answering e-mails and sending progress pics, and this was greatly appreciated. Furthermore, the measurements I provided were followed exactly, and I was pleasantly surprised by how well it fit when I first tried it on. Indy Magnoli and his tailors have produced a great replica of another iconic movie jacket, and I'm proud to be the owner of the first one he made in goatskin. And did I mention his great customer service and communication? :) The jacket was also produced very quickly, so, again, I was pleasantly surprised by how fast I received it. Will I buy from Magnoli Clothiers again? Definitely! Indy Magnoli, YOU ROCK!!
