The search for this jacket started for me in the early 1980's after seeing "Escape From New York" on cable television. From that first viewing to now, some 23 years later, I've always wanted that iconic jacket worn by the coolest character to ever grace the silver screen.
It was incredible luck that allowed me to discover Indy Magnoli. After all those years my dream jacket was to become a reality.
The jacket you see here on his site is my personal jacket so look for yourself. it's incredible.
The heavy pre-distressed cow hide is both rugged and beautiful. It will definitely be able to handle the harsh winters here in Vermont and last for years to come.
The detailing is accurate and perfectly excecuted. All the pockets are fully functional and zippers are very heavy duty.
Overall satisfaction with the final product is 100% and being the first person besides Kurt Russell to have one is simply amazing.
Thanks Mr. Magnoli for accepting this challenge and giving me the jacket I've always wanted.
