The 007 Connery/Bond surveillance pants are something I've wanted for a long time. Indy has made these classic Bond pants to perfection. The original pants that Connery's Bond wore featured a tab front closure and side tabs that made the pants self supporting without a belt. These type of self supporting pants are known as the Daks Slack and were created by Alec Simpson in 1932. Simpson was the eldest son of the founder of the English House of Simpson. Connery's Bond, with the help of his tailor Anthony Sinclair and early Bond director Terrence Young updated the Daks Slack giving it a military air by creating a very narrow pants leg. Bond was to have a military bearing even out of uniform. Indy has matched that look amazingly well. I can't wait to order one of his Bond suits.
