My wife bought this bag for me for my birthday almost a year and a half ago and it hasn't left my side. Only just starting to show wear on the back where I had a notebook in the pocket and the edge rubbed against my leg and wore a small hole in the canvas. An iron on patch fixed that in no time. The cotton web loop for the o-ring is unraveling a bit on one side but the stitching is preventing it from unraveling more.
