DESCRIPTION

Professionally printed on genuine Egyptian papyrus, this ancient looking map shows the area around Summerville which houses an underground temple dedicated to Gozer the Gozerian within a selenium mine built by Ivo Shandor in the 1920s. Besides the numerous radial lines and mountain features, this map is covered in the cuneiform writing of the Hittities, Mesopotamians and Sumerians. The entire map is carefully distressed by hand using several methods to give it the appearance of a time-worn relic.

Measures approximately 25" x 23" (64cm x 58cm)

Wonderful! It’s on real papyrus—I was amazed by the condition of the material; much nicer than what I expected. Yes, it does show that it’s printed, a technology that didn’t exist when it was supposed to have been drawn, but from afar, there’s no difference.
