For many years I have wanted to cosplay the famous Patchwork Coat so superbly worn by the 6th Doctor (Colin Baker). This year I took the plunge with the aid of my wonderful wife who paid for the coat as my birthday/Christmas gift.
Having contacted Magnoli regarding the inside pockets in the coat and exchanged details of my requirements regarding such pockets I placed my order in late March 2022. A predicted turnaround of three months projected arrival of the coat around the end of June. When June came and went with no word of the coat being completed and July and August slipped away I was feeling a little concerned considering the sum my wife had invested. As August blended into September I received the word that the Coat (and Waistcoat) was finally despatching. Having also ordered the Shirt, Vest (Waistcoat) and Trousers around the same time as the Coat and the trousers ad shirt having arrived in late August the next few days were very anticipatory. When the package arrived I was relieved and overjoyed when the Coat proved to be every bit as spectacular as I had hoped and the Magnoli quality was easily apparent.
The measurements I had provided were absolutely adhered to and made the Coat a perfect fit. The additional inside pockets, coupled with the capacious outer pockets, provide plenty of storage for various necessities.
The pattern of the original Coat worn by Colin Baker is beautifully recreated here, the lining is simply stunning, and the Coat has a decent (but not over heavy) weight when worn. When combined with the Shirt, Vest and Trousers (and a few accessories from other suppliers: boots, spats, cravat/necktie, Disney cat pin, Abbyshot cat pin, suspenders/braces) I now have a beautiful cosplay of the 6th Doctor from Revelation Of The Daleks, The Twin Dilemma, and Vengeance On Varos which I look forward to wearing to events in the coming years.
Despite the longer than expected time between ordering and delivery I am completely delighted with the Coat and would recommend Magnoli to anyone considering cosplaying the 6th Doctor...Rating:  [5 of 5 Stars!]
