This hat is a one of a kind, and a distinctive collaboration between Mr. Magnoli and Mr. Delk - the ultimate rabbit Herbert Johnson. Just got mine yesterday and it was 100% worth the wait, I can tell you. The felt is lustrous and buttery soft but has quite a solid feel. The ribbon and bow are artfully executed. I love the sweatband - good quality and slightly taller than any other fedora I've ever owned which makes a bigger difference than you'd think. I've wanted this hat for 29 years since that June of 1981. Now I have it. Opening the box felt like finally getting the Maltese Falcon only it wasn't made of lead. Heh. Order one and be patient. It's worth it absolutely...

Cannot fault this hat. My one came in very round oval as requested, and for the first time I've owned a hat that doesn't taper on my round head! Excellent product...

I wanted to wait a while before reviewing this piece to see how it breaks in after a good wearing. Initially I was surprised by how stiff the felt was when I opened the box, but after a solid month of wearing the hat has come into it's own and looks splendid. Another very fine article of clothing from Magnoli. Sharp looking hat that can be worn just about anywhere. Easily a hat I could wear out on the town, or hiking on the weekends. Very pleased...

Well I ordered my hat September 2008, I received it July 2009. Fortunately the hat I recieved was the new felt Mr. Magnoli had negotiated with Herbert Johnson. Very nice! Steve Delk had made very favourable comments on the Indygear web site, Club Obi Wan. I have also a Todd's Costumes HJ fedora. Very noticable difference in the felt quality...

I ordered my Herbert Johnson on the 28th of November of last year & recieved it this past tuesday.I must tell anyone who orders one of these fine hats this,if you're concerned about the wait time consider the truth.If you want a top quality, nevermind the real Indiana Jones fedora you must be patient.Even though these hats are sent to Mr.Steve Delk of AdventureBulit Hats to be reblocked & reshaped,it shows the level of customer care that Indy Magnoli goes to.Upon opening my box,I was treated to the most beautiful hat that I've ever owned.The styling was as I had requested,the felt the softest I've touched yet,plus the extras that they go through to make sure these hats are longlasting.To Indy magnoli-TOP NOTCH.Thank You ever so much.To all others THE WAIT IS WORTH IT!!!!..

I ordered my hat in the beginning of September with an expected wait of 3-4 months, and still have not received it. Still anxiously waiting. There must be some way to even get and expected shipping date. Thanks..
