if you are a big indiana jones fan like i am, you will know that his trusty lambskin adventure jacket was not made for adventuring in sub-zero climates....(i have no idea how he managed to stay warm in nepal...lol). i was tired of wearing an overcoat over my standard indy jacket on colder days, as it's not very 'adventuresque', so i asked magnoli to construct a shearling hybrid of the jacket. this was my first leather jacket purchase from magnoli clothiers and i was a little hesitant of the sizing, design and looks.
as soon i threw it on my shoulders, i knew that magnoli hit a home run. the jacket fits perfectly based on the measurements i gave him. it is also extremely well constructed. the craftsmanship is definitely top shelf and i have enough made to measure jackets to say so with the utmost confidence. the leather is very soft, surprisingly soft for cowhide which is a bonus as i know how tough this skin is. at first glance it looks like a wwii B-6 jacket but then you notice the indiana jones attributes and nuances....thats enough for any die hard fan! the jacket is a beauty and yes....she's warm!!! this is definitely a great addition to my indiana jones collection. i will be dealing with magnoli again for more custom jackets knowing the calibre of his products.
