Having already ordered the Hickock Coat to create an 8th Doctor Movie cosplay I contacted Magnoli about this Hickock Vest. Sadly the original material used to make this item had now run out but Indy was determined to create a Vest and, although one run of material came out a bit red, he persevered and made a second batch of material which was much darker brown. The was a much closer pattern to the one worn by Paul McGann in the movie, although a little darker, and the cut was superb. As I was to meet Paul at an event I had requested a specific date to have received the order by and it is a testament to Indy and his team that, despite a few set backs, they were able to get the Vest and Coat to me in plenty of time for the event in question. After all their efforts on my behalf I feel there are not enough words to express my thanks and delight for creating this cosplay for me. Sterling work, superb quality and highly recommended!..

I'd often thought if I had a chance to get a waistcoat like this one, I'd absolutely do so. 100% lived up to expectations and fits perfectly. Very impressed with the detail & buttons have a firm fastening unlike many costume and actual formal wear. Great work!..

I just got mine in the mail today, and it looks fantastic. It's very comfortable to wear and the length is just right (despite my messing it up and not noticing until it was almost too late). The satin paisley is finely detailed and quite shiny, looks beautiful. I can't wait for a good excuse to wear it. I think that for the specific cosplay that this is designed for, the Oriental paisley in silver is the most screen-accurate, as the Victorian paisley is a very small, fine pattern, smaller than it looks. Perhaps someday if I have the money I'll try that version for extra accuracy. As it is though it looks amazing as part of a Victorian gentleman costume, and goes great with a paisley cravat...

Fantastic quality (not that I expect anything else from Magnoli). The fit on this waistcoat is exceptional, and it really comfortable to wear. This waistcoat attracts compliments every time I wear it...
