Anniversary Tie
The Anniversary Tie, which complements the 10th Doctor's brown pin-stripe suit is absolutely beautiful! Identical to the official tie used on the 50th Anniversary Special, The Day of the Doctor made with light fabric which sits comfortably around the neck. I'm not certain the item fully supports it's price but it is, nonetheless a must-have accessory for all collectors or cosplayers...

My girlfriend surprised me yesterday with this gorgeous tie being delivered to my work address. She knew I was planning on ordering one and went and purchased one behind my back to surprise me. Money definitely well spent as this tie is exquisite. The details are just stunning and I love it so much!..

THE BAD: I am surprised at how stiff the tie is. Far stiffer than any other of the dozen or so silk ties I have in my closet.. This is not a problem except for being REALLY picky, You can tell that the tie in the dr who episode was obviously quite soft from the knot formed. Also, it smells a bit funny like it has been laying around in plastic too long sprayed with some fabric preservative (hopefully this wears off i only just opened the package).
THE GOOD: It is a fabulous! maybe my 2nd fav after a tie that cost a lot more. This tie is not just a costume piece, you could wear it anywhere. Want to smile all the way through a board meeting? this is the ticket. (might not get away with the converse to match though)..
CONCLUSION: I shall wear until the rigors of time and usage have killed it and then cry at its funeral many many years from now...

When a replica exceeds the original. That is what we have here, I own two original St. George By Duffer Ties and I have absolutely no intention of wearing them when I have this instead. The original tie used in "The Day Of The Doctor" is the only polyester tie ever worn by David Tennant as The Tenth Doctor as they wanted to have multiple copies on the cheap in case anything happened and because it was only for a single special so when it came time for Indy to make his replica and chose it to be made out of a special silk blend it caused some initial difficulties, especially with the color. After some hard work he managed to make it literally 1:1 to the original to the point where I can't even spot the difference between them. Bravo, very highly recommended...

This is an elegant tie! It is extremely well made and quite lovely. I have received many complements when wearing it. It would go well with any dark brown suit, but naturally it's perfectly fitted to accompany Ten's brown pinstripe suit if that is one's intention...

Even though this isn't one of the classic 10th Doctor ties, it's one of my favorites. The brown and blue floral design is just jaw-droppingly beautiful, and completely identical to the original. It's also one of the skinnier Tennant ties, which is nice for people who prefer a thinner tie width...
