This coat is absolutely gorgeous. I debuted it at a con recently and the reactions were wonderful. The fit, the style, the luxurious velvet, everything screamed Third Doctor. And when Peter Capaldi, the 12th Doctor himself, saw me in it, his reaction was fantastic: "Cool jacket!"..

This jacket has all of the quality and attention to detail I have come to expect from Magnoli. It is refreshing to see the Third Doctor recieve the attention he deserves after all this time, and this is perfect jacket for any Third cosplayers...

Magnoli has done it again! I sent a series of screen shots from the Jon Pertwee episodes featuring this jacket and requested a re-dye (as the jacket in the series is a slightly rusted orange colour with brown piping and not the orange/black combination as shown on the website). Magnoli instantly said 'yes, I can do that' and ended up making a gorgeous jacket that is incredibly screen accurate. I couldn't be happier with the finished product and after almost 20 years of being a Dr.Who fan, I finally get to own a complete Pertwee outfit with thanks to Magnoli!..

I got this a couple of weeks ago and I am very pleased with the jacket. It ticks all the boxes and its a very well constructed jacket. Overall, if you are a fan of the show and want something with a high degree of accuracy, this hits it very well. The jacket doesn't have as much interfacing as a standard sports jacket, which is good since it gives a tighter, fitted appearance. I've been working on my measurements as I've lost weight over the past three years and this is both comfortable and fitted in me. The piping is screen accurate and well done. I didn't even know there were pockets on the screen version, but they are integrated on this jacket in a subtle and well designed way. He stand up collar and lapels show a good tailor and pattern that they work from. Overall this is an excellent reproduction and there is nothing comparable to it out there right now. The velvet is a nice color, very soft and a nice run of a custom cloth. Highly recommended for a Pertwre style blazer. Nice job all around..

I commissioned Magnoli to make this jacket for me back in the Autumn of 2013. Based on the reference pictures I supplied him with he produced a pattern and had some velvet custom dyed to obtain an excellent match for the screen used jacket (the one that appears in the Jon Pertwee stories The Time Monster, The Three Doctors, The Curse of Peladon and fleetingly, in The Planet of Spiders). The workmanship and materials are very nice indeed and compared to buying a modern smoking jacket from a quality UK maker, the price from Magnoli represents excellent value. I’m very tempted to ask Magnoli to make me a Planet of the Daleks jacket next!..
