I have used glasses for many years, and In that time I have changed the style of frame (invisible, thin rimmed, thick paste, oval, round, squared) and the brand (Oakley, Ray Ban, Oliver Peoples, etc.) several times, While I read reviews about Magnoli's quality, I was hesitant because glasses are such a prominent item from my daily wardrobe. The moment I received these frames through the mail, I saw my fears were unfounded. The quality from Magnoli's Professor Glasses rivals those of the most prestigious brands, and at a fraction of the price.
The Good:
- The frames are sturdy, as one other reviewer pointed out, even sturdier than the BOIC. However, they are not heavy, so you won't get marks from the nose pads.
- I took these to the optometrist and she had no problem having them fitted with prescription lenses.
- The design is beautiful, of course. I have been getting compliments all around! Several people have -in fact- recognized them as the glasses used by Harrison Ford (in Raiders & Last Crusade) and Johnny Depp (in Ninth Gate). Note that the temples wrap around your ears. For me that is great as it prevents them from falling, but that is an acquired taste,
- As I said before, the price is great.
The bad:
- Absolutely nothing.
Beyond the frames themselves, shipping and customer service is top notch. I am in the US and did not have to wait overnight to get a response. The team is friendly and was very helpful in providing what I needed to submit a claim for my vision insurance (yes. depending on your insurance, these may even be fully covered!). Shipping was fast, and the frames come safely packed in a Magnoli Clothiers' stamped box. Inside box is a beautiful case, a wiping cloth and the frames.
I fully recommend these frames for a high-end, professional look. Thank you to all the Magnoli Clothiers team for making this item available, and I look forward to my next purchase...

This is a replica of SAVILE ROW’s PANT. The forms are almost same, although the original lens-frames are covered with celluloid while this is only color-painted. However, in spite of the high price, the original is produced in so old way that too frangible. This replica is possibly made better and finer than the original. Nevertheless, the form is old-fashioned as well and you have to arrange yourself the position of the nose pads etc...

Just got professor glasses today. I must they’re awesome!!!. I will replace the glass. And have my persciptions put in there. They will be my everyday wear. Thank you very much. And fast delivery. Definitely order here again.

The glasses are fantastic. Very accurate and well built, and fit perfectly. They are also very comfortable, I can't stop wearing them lately. The customer service was incredibly good and responsive, and the shipping smooth and very quick. Couldn't be happier !..
