Newt Overcoat1
This coat is awesome! I had it made to be knee-length and it’s very good looking. Nice and warm too. One change I made with a local tailor after receiving the coat (and one I highly recommend asking for when ordering if you get it cut long like I did) is adding a second buttonhole about 6 inches down from the existing single button. In a longer length I found that one button didn’t hold the coat closed well enough and adding the second button allowed the coat to hold some structure when buttoned. In the movie I don’t believe Newt ever wears the coat closed so a single button is probably more accurate, but part of the magic of Hollywood in costuming is a lot of taping, pinning, and internal structure to get the look just right at all times! Overall very happy with the results and the price was fantastic even with the addition of another buttonhole after the fact...

Just magnificent! The fabric is lovely, the fit is excellent, and the inclusion of extra interior pockets is a very unique but useful feature! Love it!..

Excellently made, and I greatly enjoyed the additional pockets added to the inside, so much so that I requested they be added to another coat I ordered. I especially liked the little loops they added--as a sketch/ink artist, I like having a convenient place to keep my pens and pencils when I'm out and about. The little loops are a little more convenient than just a front breast pocket...

Had this now only about 24 hours but since I’ve been wearing it almost non stop I think I can give a full review.
First and foremost, when you ask if they can modify it in anyway, they will modify it however you ask. I personally wanted more pockets on the inside and now I have a ton of pockets on the inside! I love it. I can carry my phone, wallet, keys, headphones, and a book, each in their own pocket!
Fit is perfect and the colour is fantastic! I just have to get it in the grey next winter...

After having this coat for about two weeks now I can say with absolute conviction that it is brilliant! The coat itself is top quality, and absolutely beautiful. It fits perfectly, and I wear it just about everywhere. I've never not received a compliment when I've worn it, one lady went as far as to say that "it's the best coat [she's] ever seen". I had custom buttons put on, and the customer service was excellent. Thanks Magnoli!..
