2049 Coat
I used the measuring method outlined by the website, using my favorite old jacket that is falling apart. The sizing was perfect and I love my new jacket. As new features became available, I was able to communicate with Magnoli Clothiers to ensure that I was getting exactly what I wanted. Thanks, Magnoli Clothiers!..

I ordered the Nubuck leather version and it arrived today, with high hopes I opened and examined the coat, I feel silent, I have grown to expect a lot from Magnoli clothiers the quality is an exceptional standard on any given day, but I opened out the coat, turned it over and it is simply artistry, the fabric, the detailing so fine it is almost unseen, it is literally beautiful. I slipped it on and realised why I keep coming back to Magnoli Clothiers, this is exceptional, the photos on the website (I know its the waxed version) don't even come close to doing this justice, I implore anyone who has considered investing in this Nubuck version of the coat, to do it, it is the most beautiful piece of tailoring available. do not hesitate this is art in cloth!!!..

The coat arrived after almost three months but it was worth the wait. Fit and finish is excellent and it looks the same as in the pictures. The color and the feel of the waxed cotton is really cool...

Nice design, very good quality, but nontheless flawed. Obviously the jacket is gonna have a good fit if your measurements are correct, that is for sure, but the problem i see with the fit is that is is a tight fit, unlike in the movie, way too tight if i have to say. I kinda had a suspision of that so i set my flexed arm size an inch larger, still the sleves are small and relatively tight. If you look at the original coat, is has biig sleves, which still fits Ryan Gosling perfectly. Oh and expect a very oily jacket if you buy waxed cotton.
Besides that, i have mixed feelings about costomer service, three main issues:
1. I asked to not have writing on the backside, it was done anyways even though i was made sure there would not be any.
2. I was told that black was the most accurate color, if it should look like the original coat. Later apparently they have changed that to dark green?
3. Costomer service was slow, one reply per day 4 days a week and very short answers to only one or two of the questions asked...
Even after all that, it probably still is the closest you get to the original coat, at an ok price...
