This poncho, whilst expensive, is absolutely screen accurate and a really great poncho to boot!
I wore is to London Comic Con in May 2023 and it was such an easy yet effective cosplay. Had a bunch of people recognise the character and ask for photos. I’ll probably cosplay as David Dunn again at some point, but for now, it lives in my car for torrential emergencies ????????..

Like another reviewer (Patrick H.), I’ve been searching the net for a few years trying to find a replica poncho worn by the ‘Overseer’. I mean it looked a great rain garment in the original movie. The search proved difficult and I all but gave up. Thought I’d give it a go just one more time only a few days ago………and BINGO – I found an image I traced back to the Magnoli Clothiers site.
Of course, me naturally being a pessimist, I still wondered whether this reproduction could seriously be that good. Nevertheless the images looked OK and reviews were good, so I took a punt.
Well, I can assure you this garment simply exceeded my expectations. It is so well made, has a quality weight and feel and it drapes so well when worn. Once you see it, you will know this poncho is just perfect for extreme wet weather conditions. Hence, if you want a poncho that will do the job and go the distance for many years, then this is it. BUT, in addition to this, if you want a simply awesome replica of David Dunn’s Poncho, then don’t waste your time looking any further because this is definitely it. I can see the reason why the previous reviewers rated it 5 stars. As for me, I am seriously stoked with my purchase. Just awesome!..

The poncho is PERFECT. Every aspect of detail on it is spot on and screen accurate, from the cut of the hood to the placement of the decals. The weight of it makes it feel even more authentic. It really looks and feels like the real thing! My only real issue isn't with the product at all, but the fact that I'm not tall enough for it (I'm only 5'4") and it is quite large on me. Hopefully I can get it custom tailored and altered to my build, but otherwise, this is the best quality replica you're going to find anywhere. I even paid extra for the express shipping and it arrived almost a full week early!..

I had looked on the internet for about 6 months trying to find a David Dunn Poncho and almost gave up until I stumbled upon this website. I was blown away by the quality of this poncho and the likeness to the movie after receiving it. The pictures shown here don't even do the poncho justice, as the color on the website looks a but too light green compared to the movie (The color temperature was probably a bit too warm in the photos). It's definitely a bit more hunter green in person which is more accurate to the real thing.
Heavy material, great quality, great likeness. I will be wearing this any chance I get when it rains and not just for Halloween/cosplay. It is heavy duty - 5 out 5 for me.
I've considered buying a second one just in case it sells out here because I have not been able to find anything else that's even close to comparable...

Absolutely perfect! Nice weight, could definitely use it in a rainstorm as well as a cosplay.
