Carpet Vest

Having ordered the Patchwork Frock Coat separately in late March I enquired about the shirt, trousers and this item (the Carpet Vest) which would help complete my 6th Doctor cosplay. Joachim in Sales was extremely helpful and suggested a payment plan to allow paying for the three items to be made and shipped at the same time as the Coat. All that was required was a deposit and then that the full amount be paid off prior to shipping.

Having provided my measurements for the Vest in a previous order (for the Plaid Vest worn by Tom Baker - which is superb) I set about paying off the plan in readiness for the completion of all four garments. Having cleared the full sum before the end of June (when the garments were projected to ship) I waited, eager to put the ensemble together.

Although Magnoli could not meet the June completion date and it was September when the garments shipped I can only praise Indy and his team, and thank Joachim, for the wonderful work they have done. The waistcoat is absolutely gorgeous and fits perfectly. The provision of the blue chain (which connects to the pocket of the waistcoat using a hook and eye fastener) is a superb feature that only adds to the beauty of the garment. The lining is a rich swirling red (like the lining of the Coat) and the waistcoat has a nice weight but is not too heavy.

As a Made-To-Measure the shipping was by fast courier and I was delighted when the Coat and Waistcoat (despatched in one parcel) arrived to combine with the Shirt and Trousers (which had arrived previously). When combined with some accessories (boots, spats, braces, cat pin and cravat) sourced from other suppliers the effect was simply amazing.

I thoroughly recommend Magnoli for their high quality and beautifully accurate cosplay clothing. I look forward to attending many events in the future wearing this stunning costume.
