I spent some time (well, a long time, actually) looking for a suitable replacement to my old canvas shooting jacket. Apparently (or so I thought) they're just not made like that anymore. That was my impression for several months, until I ran across Indy's site. I figured since I was going to go all out and have a jacket made to my specifications, I took the best example I knew of- an Abercrombie and Fitch shooting jacket from the sixties made famous (or infamous) by journalist Hunter S. Thompson. I emailed Indy the specs and promptly responded that he'd see what he could do. We shot some emails back and forth discussing various modifications to my original design and I have to say I was not steered wrong. I sent in my measurements, slightly uneasy with the feeling I may have screwed something up. The same day Indy sends me an email regarding the measurements I gave him. I took another and found out I was way off. I was impressed with the concern and timely feedback. A few short weeks later and I received a wonderful garment. It's gotten me compliments everywhere-getting coffee, replacing my cellphone, at work and even just on the street.
