This is my second journal purchased. I cannot recommend these highly enough. The details are clear and the craftsmanship is ever-present. It has heft, but isn't too heavy. It is mobile, but not too small either. While on the move, mine lives happily at home in my inner jacket pocket.
My first purchase was was an aged cover with aged pages. This purchase was new cover/new pages. I used to the first to jot down notes, and this new one more as a diary. I think both books are great in their own way. The aged book is great if you'd like to feel as if you have the original journal, and the new book is great to forge adventures all on your own.
My favorite thing about the book is that it is unique but not too flashy. It is a representation of my interests, but does not go shouting about itself down the street.
