This is a really handsome coat. The velvet on the back of the collar and trim throughout make it distinctive without being gaudy; the velvet also makes it more comfortable to raise the back collar against the wind if the occasion arises. The ample, curved lapel is an excellent detail too. The fit is very good, which I appreciate because clothes off the rack never fit me well and it's actually something of a revelation to have a coat that is fully comfortable and convenient to wear. I also appreciated that the requests that I made for extra length and a particular, contrasting lining were very willingly accommodated. It is worth noting that the coat does take quite a while to bring into being; from my experience it's best to assume a lead time of roughly six months until delivery.Rating:  [5 of 5 Stars!]
