Connery Shirt

I\'ve been wearing Turnbull and Asser shirts now for twenty years on a daily basis and long before I was a Bond fan. T&A\'s shirts are unparralled in quality and last for years of abuse. I knew Magnoli was making a copy of the original T&A Connery shirt and recently decided to take one in blue and another in white as samplers.

Given a rough size in sleeve and collar, I knew that if the shirts did not fit I would have to send out my own to be measured for the second batch if the quality was OK. Well, it is MORE than OK, these shirts are really good quality and finely made. The cuff is exactly the same as the T&A shirt, but more iron friendly and easier to maintain. The stitching is as high as one could hope for and the whole shirt appears indestructable, yet comfortable. Better yet, the fit was spot on. I will be buying very many more of these fine shirts, which will to a large extent replace my T&A ones. I ordered the standard cotton versions. Can\'t wait to see what Magnoli supplies in Sea Island cotton.

At these prices, if Fleming were alive, he\'d be buying a few shirts from Magnoli Clothiers too. I cannot praise them enough.
