Connery Shirt

I ordered a Connery shirt in sky blue Sea Island cotton. This was my first purchase from Magnoli, along with a pair of of grey flannel trousers, but it certainly won't be my last! This shirt is now the best in my wardrobe and surpasses the indifferent quality of supposedly superior Jermyn St brands. It is faithful to the original Connery Turnbull & Asser shirt seen in Goldfinger at a fraction of the price. The quality of work is excellent, as is the fit (I was pleasantly surprised by this, given it is my first experience of on-line bespoke tailoring). The stitching appears to be strong, no loose threads or buttons, so with care it should last a good while. The traditional spread collar sets off a silk tie knot beautifully.

Communication with Indy was excellent, and he even managed to accommodate a late request for collar stiffener channels that I had forgotten to specify at the outset.

All in all, this is an outstanding quality and value shirt and I plan to order more when funds permit.
