This coat is absolutely brilliant. I have the navy wool right now, and will be going back for the navy velvet in the near future.

If you're looking for a replica, this is the coat to get. The cuts and flares are where they should be, the midnight red lining is to die for, and the feeling of wearing it is second to none. The first time I put a whole cosplay-accurate outfit together and saw myself in the mirror I felt a kind of warm nostalgia and child-like happiness that still sticks with me when I dress it in other ways to wear on a cold day.

To that point: As a coat, removed from the source material --- its also incredibly well made. The wool quality is soft, its warm without being stifling, and the tailoring carries through in every detail. Magnoli knocked it out of the park.
