So just to let you know where I'm coming from, I'm not a cosplayer, I am bowtie wearer who likes Doctor Who and occasionally likes to mix the two. Firstly the good: really well constructed, it is certainly a high quality self tie bow tie and it's absolutely gorgeous fabric. I have the Rings of Ahkaten replicas from both here and Mrs. Bowtie and I have to say that the quality of the fabric from here is leaps and bounds ahead of Mrs. Bowtie (not to degrade Mrs.Bowtie, their replicas are a lot more affordable, and I highly recommend their Nightmare In Silver bowtie). They also arrived very quickly, much quicker than predicted.
Unfortunately, they loose a mark because the cut is weird. Both bowties I bought were much longer than any of my other bowties, not in terms of neck length but in terms of the actual bow section which I thought made it a little difficult to tie neatly. This one also had thinner bow than normal and the Ahkaten one had a fatter bow which I guess is a matter of personal taste, but I can't say it's to mine. Also this one arrived with the Magnoli label on the opposite side to the length adjustment, both of which you would expect to wear facing into the neck, not the end of the world as I just separated the two parts, turned it around and put it back, but it was a little nerve racking to have to finagle it over the nice neatly sewed end.
All in all they were lovely bowtie which I would recommend buying!Rating:  [4 of 5 Stars!]
