Skyfall Waxed Jacket

This jacket is in one word: Amazing!

I have wanted a Barbour coat like the one Bond wore since the Skyfall movie came out. I did visit one of their retail stores, and tried one on. The quality was top notch, but for some reason, they didn’t fit quite right. The look was off, and I wasn’t crazy about the olive color in person. So the search continued. I had my eye on this jacket for a while, and after putting aside some money for it, I pulled the trigger.
I was a little nervous ordering something overseas, that would take months to finish, but I sent my measurements from a well fitting suit jacket and hoped for the best.
I hadn’t needed to worry! My jacket arrived yesterday, and the fit is perfect!!! I went with the dark brown waxed cotton, and it looks incredible. I’ll confidently say that the quality feels indestructible! I have no doubt that this jacket will last me for many years. It felt a bit like the Scottish highlands here in southern New York today, with rain and fog, and the jacket handled it beautifully.
While I was a bit anxious waiting for it to be finished, it was well worth the wait. I have long heard about the high quality of Magnoli’s products and this jacket doesn’t disappoint!!!
