These gloves are wonderful. They’ve got an incrediblely subtle two tone look which is accurate to the original, so subtle in fact that Benedict Cumberbatch thought there was something wrong with his gloves when he first noticed it in the middle of filming before the costume designer revealed it had always been like that. The holes around the knuckles are a very interesting feature and they don’t bother you in the slightest when worn, you hardly notice it’s even there until you realize your hands aren’t sweating thanks to it keeping moisture in check by letting in just a small bit of air. My only gripe was the sizing, I’d recommend going up by one, I measured correctly but it was too small at first so I had to exchange them. They’re still the tiniest bit tight, but I’m much happier now. Overall it’s not something you’ll find anywhere else and an essential component to the Sherlock look.
