Like another reviewer (Patrick H.), I’ve been searching the net for a few years trying to find a replica poncho worn by the ‘Overseer’. I mean it looked a great rain garment in the original movie. The search proved difficult and I all but gave up. Thought I’d give it a go just one more time only a few days ago………and BINGO – I found an image I traced back to the Magnoli Clothiers site.

Of course, me naturally being a pessimist, I still wondered whether this reproduction could seriously be that good. Nevertheless the images looked OK and reviews were good, so I took a punt.

Well, I can assure you this garment simply exceeded my expectations. It is so well made, has a quality weight and feel and it drapes so well when worn. Once you see it, you will know this poncho is just perfect for extreme wet weather conditions. Hence, if you want a poncho that will do the job and go the distance for many years, then this is it. BUT, in addition to this, if you want a simply awesome replica of David Dunn’s Poncho, then don’t waste your time looking any further because this is definitely it. I can see the reason why the previous reviewers rated it 5 stars. As for me, I am seriously stoked with my purchase. Just awesome!
