Whoa! Just got th boots, right on schedual. The quality is fantastic! And I'm sure the combat soles can be replaced by an experianced cobbler (good longevity). All the boots need, is a treatment with Hawain Tropic tanning oil (does wonders for dyed leather) or a good quality mink oil (some brands (Flourshim) can destroy the texture of the leather)) . These will be great for skeet shooting! Thanks Indy!

Gang - I just got my pair of these field boots and they ROCK!!! The custom fit is great, very comfortable, and I was able to use them right away with a minimum of "breaking in." One thing I do want to point out though is that the leg on these boots is less stiff than on something like a cowboy boot or traditional riding boot which is designed for something wholly different. This boot seems to offer a bit of both leg protection and comfort. The leather is fine grain and supple. Well done! I love 'em!
