What is Magnoli Clothiers?

Magnoli Clothiers is dedicated to the reproduction of vintage clothing, historic garments and popular film and game costumes. These reproductions, however, are not costume pieces, but tailor-made, high-quality clothing.

What else can you make?

Any piece of mens clothing that you can provide images of can be reproduced. We can copy a garment you already own, or, by analyzing various images, we can reproduce any article from photograph or film stills.

How do I send you my measurements?

Measurements are sent independently of orders and are part of your on-line account. Because of the different construction methods used for fabric and leather/Jacket garments, there are two seperate forms for these articles. Each form can be found by viewing your account details. All measurements will be kept on file and can be adjusted for future orders.

What do I do if I don't have a well fitted Jacket for taking Jacket measurements?

If you don't have a well fitting jacket, we recommend going to a local second-hand shop and trying to find one there. Color, quality or condition doesn't matter, as long as you can find one that has the basic size and fit you're after. You can then take the measurements from this garment, modifying them as necessary.
Another option that some of our customers have been successful using, is visiting a leather jacket shop, such as Wilsons or even a department store which carries them. If you can find a helpful salesperson who isn't busy, they might allow you to take measurements from one of their jackets.
You can also send off-the-body measurements if you like and I can then compare them to your off-the-garment measurements to see how they match up. Feel free to e-mail me with any questions.

How do I place a review?

To place a review go to the item page you ordered from and the review button is below the product title. Click on "add your review" and place your review.

Do you accept returns/ exchanges?

Tailor-made clothes purchased from Magnoli Clothiers may not be returned and refunded for any reason. If an error occurred on the part of Magnoli Clothiers we will remake the item for free (or is some circumstances we can exchange it for another item(s).)

All in stock items (accessories) can be returned/ exchanged if the customer is not entirely satisfied with their purchase. All returns/ exchanges must be organized via e-mail (please state your order number) before sending back.  Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer and will not be refunded. Upon receipt of returned merchandise, a full refund will be rewarded minus our shipping cost.

Overstock and Factory Second Items cannot be returned or exchanged.

Do you have other materials/colors?

Although we only display a small selection of materials/colors for each design, any material seen on our site can be used to make any suit. We have literally hundreds of various fabrics and colors available, so feel free to contact us with your requests. Swatches can be sent for a small fee. E-mail us for details.

Can you make items with fabric which I've sourced and where do I send it?

Yes we can make items with fabric you've sourced. We can even give you a slight discount on the item you want. E-mail us and we'll let you know which address to send your fabric to.

How long does a particular item take to make?

All tailor-made clothes (Suits, dress shirts, Jackets, Pants) can take up to three to four months to complete from time of payment. Shipping generally takes an additional week. We are currently not accepting rush orders.

Non-tailored items (such as journals and accessories) which are in stock will be shipped immediately and will take up-to two to five weeks, via regular mail (and two to six days via express), to arrive.

Fully customized items can take longer, as there is a lot of pattern work involved as well as sourcing new materials. See "How MTM Works" for more information on this process. Feel free to e-mail us with any questions.

What are "White Label" jackets?

Our "White Label" Jackets are a lower-cost alternative to our standard line of leather and casual cotton jackets. They are fully made-to-measure using high quality materials, but with limited options and no customizations available to streamline the production process. Average turnaround time is currently four to five months. Currently not accepting RUSH upgrades for White labels.

Can you make anything for women?

Although we primarily make garments for men, our clothing (Suits, Jackets) can be made to be worn by woman too. If you have any ideas that you think we could produce for you please email sales@magnoliclothiers.com

How should I care for my clothes?

All clothes are best to be professionally dry-cleaned and pressed before wearing. Cotton items (such as shirts and some pants) can be machine-washed in cold water, but hand-washing is recommended as this will prolong the life of your garment, and line-dried. Avoid using dryers as these can shrink cotton. All clothes can be ironed on an appropriately low setting, preferably with a clean cloth between the iron and garment.

Leather goods should be oiled with Picard (or any other leather care products) about once a year, if using daily. It also depends on the climate you live in. If you live in a dry climate one to two times a year would be recommended.

Please refer to Garment Care instructions for more info.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit/debit cards. We also accept paypal payments but only via email so please contact us if you wish to pay via that method. (Email us your paypal account address, with the item and shipping method you want, so that we can then send you an invoice).

Do you accept payment plans?

We do accept payment plans and it's interest free too. The first installment must be a 20% deposit, then pay the rest when you can.  The item(s) you ordered won't be shipped until the final payment is made. Contact us via email if you wish to pay this way.
