Bound in calfskin with a hand-debossed decorative border, this old fashioned diary contains 288 hand-stitched pages, hand-painted endpapers and comes complete with a black elastic band which fits both horizontally and vertically.

Measures about 6 1/2" x 4"
Available in new condition or with distressed cover, complete with worn corners
Pages can be left new, or artificially stained for a truly vintage appearance

Quality leather journal. Size is just right to be portable, but still feels solid and is nice to handle. Plenty of pages. Very nice!

I ordered one of Magnoli's original journals back in 2008 and remember being floored by the design. I gave that journal to my father. Many years later, searching for one to use for myself, I came back to Magnoli Clothiers searching for the Diary once more. I placed an order for the Dark Brown Aged Professor's Diary. When it arrived a week later, it just was not the journal I had purchased in 08. After speaking with Indy (Magnoli), he exchanged the journal for an Aged Tan Professor's Diary, taking the time and care to deliver one slightly adjusted to what I was looking for from the aging/embroidery process. It arrived today and all I can say is WOW. EXCELLENT craftsmanship, and EXCELLENT form. I could not be happier with the journal or more thankful to Magnoli for his patience and understanding throughout the exchange process. All in all, a FLAWLESS product that I am GREATLY looking forward to taking with me on my travels. Thanks again, Indy.

I ordered two copies of the "professor's diary" (in both colours) and I was absolutely delighted by the product. The design is simple but exquisite, and the pre-distressed pages and covers gave it a true vintage feel. Even though the pages have been pre-distressed, they are nonetheless sturdy and absorb the ink of pens readily. These journals will definitely accompany me when I am abroad to document my travels.

Received my Journal yesterday and absolutely delighted. I had ordered one a few a years ago and while good, I felt it didn't resemble the prop closely enough. However with the new edging, and binding, I think this is a really accurate reproduction. Highly recommended.

Received the diary as a gift, had been looking for a suitable life-journal to write in and this is the perfect one. It will last a lifetime and is the paragon of perfection. Just hope it doesn't end up in Berlin, and if so that Hitler doesn't burn it, but signs instead.
