Bound in calfskin with a hand-debossed decorative border, this old fashioned diary contains 288 hand-stitched pages, hand-painted endpapers and comes complete with a black elastic band which fits both horizontally and vertically.

Measures about 6 1/2" x 4"
Available in new condition or with distressed cover, complete with worn corners
Pages can be left new, or artificially stained for a truly vintage appearance

I just got my journal today, and I have to say it is the end of a long search. I've been looking for a joural like this for about 10 years now. Indy puts together a very high-quality book. I was surprised at how good the quality of the book is. Very good paper and fine leather. I am looking forward to beginning my entries. Thanks Indy! This is the best, well-crafted, bound journal available. It is very well-suited for a "project" diary, but would be right at home in actual field or personal use. Opening up will reveal artisan crafting that will last for many generations.

My Diary arrived last week and I was as giddy as a school boy when I opened the mailbox. I must say it is the coolest thing I now own. The aged cover and pages look like my diary has seen many good years, and with such a solid construction I'm sure it will last me a lifetime. Thank you!
