I've had the jacket for about a month and a half now with regular use, so I think it's time I give it a review. For starters, this really is the jacket to get if you want what Sundance wears in the movie. That's why I got it - I was obsessed with his jacket and after about a year of searching, I found this. After months of being on the fence, finally pulled the trigger and bought it. And it REALLY looks the part. That's not to say it's perfect. For one, the jacket is actually cut a little shorter than the one in the film. It stops wear the sleeves stop, which is about a good 3 inches shorter than what Sundance has. This is clear in the product's pictures if you look closely, but I didn't realize it until I got the jacket. Now I understand why they did this, because it makes it much more comfortable to sit in this jacket than most blazers, but it makes the rear vent look a little pointless and silly. The pockets are also pretty small and don't extend as far down the jacket as I would like, or as far as they should if we take the one in the film as reference. The corduroy is also extremely thin - So thin that I would not feel comfortable doing basic chores in it, like carrying firewood (I've never had any jacket tear from carrying firewood and never had that concern before, but I have that fear with this jacket). But I only wear it casually and haven't done anything strenuous in it, and it's held up fine so far. Surprisingly, it's practical to wear in warm weather and even slightly chilly weather. The leather collar is paper-thin as well, like laughably thin, and seems to be reinforced with what I'm guessing is a polyester twill. But if you look closely in the movie, I think the collar is film-accurate, so I'm fine with it. It has no tags about construction or care, so I'm deathly afraid of washing it and don't know how I'd clean it. When it first arrived, it had a VERY strong chemical smell and the fabric had A LOT of creases - I thought the corduroy pile was crushed in places. But with pretty regular use, those creases have completely disappeared and the chemical smell is just about gone. I also get plenty of compliments on the jacket, because it really does look that good. In short, it's a fantastic looking jacket, but even for a product 1/4 the price that this one is, the quality would be pretty disappointing. If I could go back, I would still buy it, but it feels like it is purely a jacket for looks, not for use...

Size, fit, and tailoring are perfect. I can feel that they are very particular about the materials they use for their clothes when I hold them in my hands. It's great that they make movie costumes to detailed specifications!..
