Way back in 2007 I commissioned Indy to make this jacket for me - as I stated in my original review below - but at the time when Indy recommended the Goatskin over the Cowhide, I didn't listen. I wanted a Jacket that was as screen accurate as it could be, right down to the fit. The fit in this case is a jacket that wears like a suit jacket and not a coat. My first version of this jacket ended up being a coat. As much as I love that coat – and believe me I do - I couldn’t wear it as I had wanted and it had totally the wrong look when I tried. This wasn’t Indy’s fault by any means; I made the wrong choice and didn’t take his advice in the first place. But in a way I’m glad I made the wrong choice because in the time since my first commission, Indy had time to do more research into making the jacket as close to the original as possible. So I commissioned the second version, this time making sure to listen to Indy about the Goatskin. The result? A Sam Tyler jacket that is as near to perfect as one can expect and one very happy customer. In fact, I am even more happy to see that my jacket has the distinction to be the sample featured on this very site, because of how strongly I feel about it’s tailoring, I think it’s right where it should be. During the course of my commission Indy made sure to address all my concerns to make me the jacket I wanted, for that I am grateful and will tell the world of his services, again and again...

This jacket is fantastic. Ever since I laid eyes on it, after watching LOM, I have been after something similar and then I saw that Indy could go one better. I can't speak highly enough of the sheer quality of the jacket. It's superbly made and the leather used is as good as you'll find, far better than most, if not all, high street retailers. The design is spot on too and it really looks the part. I love that I'm unlikely to come across someone else wearing one and that it won't be out done on the style front! I would recommend that anyone who has serious love of leather jackets, have Indy do you one, you won't regret it. Thanks Indy..

I received my ?Tyler? Jacket this morning, 19th March 08 (ordered Jan 28th 08). I am extremely please with the replication of the jacket from 'Life on Mars'. The tailoring is spot on and it fits perfectly. The jacket looks amazing and I can?t wait to wear it out and about! Well worth the wait! Thanks once again! Carl..

Indy is the best. I needed to say that. I have tried since series one of Life on Mars to get this jacket made. Another well known leather site kept saying they would get back to me for months, but never did. I asked Indy to make this and the same day he said yes. As for the review of Jacket? Perfect. it fits like a glove and looks brilliant. I can wait for the cold weather to start now! My only fear is that one day I might wake up in 1973... Thanks again Indy!..
