Extremely well made and tightly bound - should last for generations. The paper is of exceedingly good quality - appears to be linen and takes the ink very well. Mine was blank pages in new cover, and aside from a couple of scuff marks on the "back" cover (the book is truly symmetrical - so front/back is in the eye of the beholder - at least until it's written in ;) it is an excellent acquisition. Very happy and well worth the wait...

We've all heard that "they don't make 'em like they used to." Well, that's not true with this journal. It is absolutely fantastic. I have the aged version and it is perfectly well-built, perfectly aged, and, well...perfect, in my opinion. I would highly recommend it!! This smaller version is good for travel, but I also have the larger version which is nice for use at home. I can't say enough good things about either of these journals...

Well, I got home from work today and saw a parcel waiting for me on the coffee table. With the mustard yellow packaging, international airmail label and the old fashioned type writer font on the address I felt like Indy when he picked up the post in his office. The journal itself is terrific, with a rich patina on the cowhide that looks like it will age wonderfully, bound well and pocket sized as per the film. All in all a fantastic reproduction of the film prop delivered with faultless service. Highly recommended!..

I got this journal last fall, and ever since I have been using it as a production diary for an indie movie I'm trying to make, as well as a diary for my personal thoughts, and as a planner for tests/assignments in college, or general sketches I like to make. It has been very handy and fits neatly into either a trouser pocket or a jacket pocket ;). I love this little book, and have gotten several compliments on it. Great as a grail diary, but equally good as a stand-alone diary. When I don't carry it with me, I have it proudly displayed on my bookshelf. Great quality, and great for recording my thoughts when I'm in a hurry to my next class...
