Swirly Tie
I can say with a decent amount of confidence that this tie is how you discovered one of the greatest tailors you will ever know. This beautiful tie is the one most associated with The Tenth Doctor played superbly by David Tennant, who has claimed this tie to be his favorite, this opinion is shared with the costume designer of the Tenth Doctor era, Louise Page, and likely the opinion shared by you. This amazing recreation of the original Christian Lacroix tie is a nearly 1:1 match for the tie worn in "The Girl In The Fireplace, Love And Monsters, Blink, and The End Of Time: Part 2." The reason such a gorgeous tie wasn't used more often is one of the reasons it was such a favorite by those who worked on the show, there was only one. For every other tie used on the show there were many copies bought just in case they were any accidents which would destroy the tie and ruin an episode's continuity, but there was only one of these. If you have any qualms then you'll be glad to know that there's no reason for it. I cannot recommend this tie enough, it really is one of the most beautiful ties I've ever seen...

I'm not sure why I waited so long to pick up this tie, but I'm really glad I did! It's absolutely gorgeous, and the pattern is very distinctive. An epic tie from some epic episodes - I can't wait to wear this tie out with my full Tenth Doctor cosplay and really show it off. Love this tie!!..

Probably the most recognizable of all of the 10th Doctor's ties, Magnoli's latest replica of the Christian Lacroix tie is the most screen accurate you are liable to find. The color and patterning is identical, pops in the light, and is just beautifully made. It's even got the red lining on the back which adds that extra bit of authenticity. Fantastic tie all around...

Okay, so! I've just received the tie today and it is gorgeous! However, the tie was a lot wider than I was expecting. Normally, I wear ties that are on the more slim side. Not quite skinny ties (although I do own a couple) but ties that I guess are normal widths. So that pulled me back a bit and will take it's time to get used to, but the tie is beautiful that I won't mind it. It goes great with shades of blue and is quite the looker. I highly recommend this! Also, take the TARDIS once you order it so you don't have to wait as long!..

I had to wait a really long time for this tie, as it went out of stock right the same days I decided tu buy it, and it wasn't back before several months. Also, I paid considerably more than expected, as the change EUR/USD has changed pretty much since then (I was buying from Italy). This considered, I hoped for some discount, but unfortunately I couldn't have any. I was rather disappointed about these matters, and I thought I would write quite a bad review.
Yet, as you can see, I gave 5/5 to the tie, and this should suggest how satisfied I am of it. I had really high expectations about it: not only I found the tie really great when I saw David Tennant wearing it, but I also read enthusiastic reviews from other customers, both about accuracy and quality. I do not exaggerate when I say that the tie itself goes far beyond what I hoped. I am especially surprised of the how it interacts with light: you will never get an idea of how great it is from pictures - they just don't do it justice. It seems a bit darker than I expected, but this could be due to the light I have here, and the tie is wonderful nevertheless.
I also want to point out that I ordered the tie on December 31st, right before midnight in Italy, which means midday of January 1st in New Zealand, and at midnight of the following day, i.e. exactly 24 hours later, I got a mail by Magnoli saying that the tie had been shipped. The only remark I have is that it has been folded for shipment, but I guess this can be fixed easily.
In conclusion, if you want this tie but you are not sure it is worth the money, it definitely is, so buy it now (before it gets out of stock again...!). I must say I haven't really experienced Indy's legendary courtesy, but that might have been about me and my disappointment for the long waiting. I hope I change my mind about this with my next purchase...
