Loathing Field Jacket
It’s about time that I finally leave a review for this here jacket. Words can’t describe the how much the coat means to me, it’s quite honestly up there on the list of my most prized possessions. It’s not a perfect coat or reproduction of the original, but by god it really is a terrific opportunity to grab hold of something so close! I’ve spent a sorry amount of time studying the colors and materials of the originals and can fully admit that this coat doesn’t have much of them assembled together; but that really doesn’t distract from how the coat looks, fits and feels to wear. It definitely has great quality duck canvas and solid corduroy that pops out in a subtle sort of way. That price tag might ward off some wary buyers, but trust me it’s the most affordable version on the market and for that I’m ever so grateful. It really is worth saving up to make this purchase, for me personally it took many years in between odd jobs and renting situations to be able to save up for mine and I quite literally have never once regretted it! Please Magnoli; never stop making these coats, a man will always need 5 of these in their closet just in case the going gets weird and without you (and the team) we wouldn’t be prepared for the weirds’ inevitable turn to pro.

I really want to add a special thank you to Magnoli and Team for still being a reliable vendor for the types of products that they create. I can’t find any other sources for the types of goods that they produce and it should be noted that they’re doing their damn best at making the highest quality niche items on the market. If any of these products (including this beloved jacket) were ever to be removed they’d surely be missed. Your work is duly noted in the annals of history and is absolutely cherished in the present!..

If you're on the fence about buying this jacket, take a breath, and "buy the ticket, take the ride." Quality is outstanding, heavy and functional (I can attest to another review that you can in fact fit a box of 12 gauge shotgun shells in a pocket). This jacket is not a flimsy costume piece, and has all the function of a proper field jacket. This jacket is beautiful, pictures really do not do the jacket justice in capturing all of the different textures throughout. Customer service was great and Magnoli is very helpful in guiding you in the right direction if you, (like me) have never ordered a bespoke jacket before. The jacket arrived way before the estimated production estimate and I was able to break it in, Thanksgiving morning the way Doc would have intended (hard liquor and skeet shooting before 10AM)...
