British Mark VII Satchel
Spectacular craftsmanship and materials in the making of this modernized and ever-so-slightly larger reproduction of the British bas mask bag wore by the adventurous Dr. Jones.
The reconfigured compartment layout is superb, matched with the slightly larger size (from the original) ,for carrying a bit more essentials on your next adventure. Rugged material, strong stitching, sturdy steel rings, heavy duty brass snaps. Excellent, high quality modified reproduction.
I must add, however, I think a little heavier canvas should be used. Not that the material they use is flimsy (a little floppy), but just a few ounces heavier would really add to the bullet-proof feel of the satchel.
For my purposes, the slightly smaller (barely noticeable, but definite), and hardier canvas of my original Mark VII shall continue to tote my goods about, until it can no more (I've already replaced the web straps that attach the rings on the original Mark VII), but when it does finally fail, I shall surely move my buffalo leather strap to the magnificent Magnoli.

I have had a previous version of this satchel that has lasted me for years, but it was time to retire it and purchase a new one. So this time I got the modern interior which is very well laid out for everyday use. It looks great and I can tell improvements have been made to the design since I bought my first one. I am sure this will give me years of use just like my old one...

I’m back here years later to purchase my second bag & strap after I carelessly misplaced my first somewhere. I’m taking a moment to leave a review because in the years I owned my bag I took it on many adventures and I had a lot of history with it. I was very sad to lose it.
I’m buying the modern cut this time. The vintage one was great, but I think I’ll get more convenience out of the modern one. The vintage interior can hold an iPad, phone, wallet, and other such things quite well, but the modern interior will work more I think.
I got the roller buckle with the strap, it moved and worked freely and easily exactly when I needed...

I just received my bag and I'm blown away. I think it's a marked improved over the original. I wish the original was made of the same material. While it may not be "screen accurate" I think it looks truer to the feel of the bag from the movies than the original. This is a spectacular bag. The Raiders strap, particularly the buckle, is great. This buckle is beautiful. I am beyond impressed.
I've own several bags, both reproduction and original, but Magnoli's replica (with modern interior) is by far my favorite. Don't bother buying the thin and corse original. Buy the better bag with the modern interior. You won't be displeased...
