British Mark VII Satchel
Just received my satchel from Indy Magnoli, arrived promptly to Bristol UK where I am.
Really good product, I bought it as a replacement for an original WW2 Mark VII satchel I had for about 18 years that I loved
but was now falling apart on me.
This one looks like it’ll last me another 20 years or more.

I ordered the satchel (with strap) to be my new "con bag." The "modern layout" option was absolutely worth the money. The extra pockets really come in handy to keep my things organized. As a prop, it absolutely keeps the amazing Magnoli standard for accuracy. I have yet to test it at a con, but I have found a place for all my little necessities for walking the halls. The only thing keeping this from a perfect rating is the size of some of the pockets. The water bottle pocket is perfection. I can fit an 11" tall 3" diameter bottle in and still close the flap. Some of the pockets lining the interior, however, could have been sacrificed to make fewer, but larger, pockets. If I can't fit my hand in, it is just frustrating.
All in all, a wonderful bag for the price. Who doesn't want to charge their phone in Indiana Jones' satchel?..

This is the third Mark VII satchel I've purchased from Magnoli, the first was 12 years ago. The first bag I bought I gave to a friend, and then bought another for myself. It lasted me these past twelve years. I used it regularly throughout that time, and only lately were the stress points on the canvas fabric showing their age. I was pleased to see that Magnoli now makes a slightly larger one with a sleeve at the back big enough for an iPad or similar. Not WWI authentic, of course, but an outstanding bag at an outstanding value. Buy this -- you won't regret it. It will serve you well -- maybe even as long as it served me. Magnoli has made this product too well. It'll probably be another decade or more before I need to get a new one. So thanks once again!..

Beautifully replicated feels like a trip to the past and I was just issued this bag, has all the compartments as the original. Color is perceived different according to light just like Indys Bag did. Loved it!..

I've actually had this bag for I think a good month by the time I'm writing this review. Figured I get time with it before posting my thoughts on here. Quite frankly, I love it. Haven't left my house without it since I got it. It was a toss up between this or the genuine bag and I went with this one solely because I wanted something that would last. Looking forward to having this with me in future adventures...
